Tim has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, the past 18 of which were spent as Chief Fiduciary Officer of the Wealth Management Group at Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. Since 1973 he has worked with private client investment management firms in Boston coordinating their clients’ income and estate tax matters, various legal and accounting concerns and investment strategies tailored to their particular preferences and objectives. Tim began his career at Northwestern Mutual where he was responsible for assisting its nationwide agency team to create and implement life insurance solutions to business continuation and personal estate planning problems. He has been active in community affairs having served as President of the Somerville Community Corporation for more than ten years, as a 12-year member of the Somerville Zoning Board of Appeals and as a member of the Hospital Board of Trustees of Cambridge Health Alliance among other short-term commitments. Tim has a B.A. from Trinity College and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Tim and his wife, a faculty member at Tufts University, live in the Davis Square area of Somerville and have three adult sons, two in the Boston area and one in Singapore. He enjoys reading, sports, travel and his grandchildren.
