Chief Planning Officer

Susan focuses on helping people and the causes they care about to manage their assets. In her role as Chief Planning Officer she works closely with internal colleagues and clients’ trusted advisors to provide integrated advice on investment, retirement, philanthropic, estate, and tax planning strategies.

Susan came to the practice of wealth management with a foundation of more than 20 years of entrepreneurial, marketing, financial services and philanthropic successes. Realizing that women were under-served and under-serviced in financial services, Susan began her career in wealth management to help address the challenges women face. It quickly became evident that everyone benefits from a comprehensive approach to sustainable, risk managed investment solutions and financial life planning.

Prior to joining Wellesley Investment Partners Susan worked at UBS, Credit Suisse, Sapers & Wallack and Boston Private Wealth. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation and earned dual master’s degrees in Management and Educational Counseling from Cambridge College following undergraduate work at Wellesley College and Bar Ilan University. Susan is actively involved in her community as the immediate past Chair of the Tiffany Circle of the Red Cross of Massachusetts, the Board of Overseers of SpeakEasy Stage and the Temple Emanuel Newton endowment committee along with Women’s Philanthropy at CJP. She lives in Newton with her family where she enjoys cooking and entertaining. Susan loves to sail, hike and learn.
